We have a huge issue on hand and its not getting any better! Im talking about a national epidemic here, obesity and overweightedness...( lol, real word?) in our country! no bueno. We all face these cravings for fast food. I mean its yummy food, and you get it fast, so how can we not want it? Then once we eat it, we get tired and lazy and dont want to be active. Well we need to change. 16% of preschool children are obese or overweight and 20% of children over all. 2/3 of America is obese or overweight. If this trend continues, 100% of America will be either obese or overweight by 2048. Thats horrible and not to say the least...embarrassing. With out a doubt one of the fattest countries! Thats not something that im proud to say why i live here. These people who are overweight or obese have a higher risk of cancers and illnesses, resulting in even death!

In order to change we as Americans need to instill better diet and exercising habits in our children to begin with. Just by eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day with 8 glasses of water as well. Exercise everyday, even if that means talking a 10 minute walk, or riding your bike somewhere instead of driving. Play a sport you enjoy, or even dance! Playing the Wii fit is a great work out and its fun. Just staying active. You will feel better attitude wise, have more energy, clearer skin and you will be healthier and fit!

Me

So im starting this blog because I am constantly thinking. Thinking about world issues. Thinking about my family. Thinking about friends. Thinking about school. Thinking about strangers and how I can help them. How I can help anyone. How I can make my mark on the world. That's just one dream of many that I have. I want to change the world and the way everyone thinks. I want to change lives in a way that people will enjoy everyday blessings and truely appreciate our world and what we are given. I want to instill peace of mind. I want people to remember me and my meseges. To love one another for who they are despite religion, race, gender and so on. It sounds crazy to hear that people still judge eachother, but it happens, and I encounter it everyday. And everyday I am still shocked. Why havent people learned by now? I'll be sitting at Starbucks with friends and whether they notice it or not, they'll judge every single persn walking in. What they're wearing, how they walk, their presence, how they talk, what they eat or drink, if they look at you a certain way, their size. It seems like it's just human nature...to judge. Can we ever just...stop? Can we just accept people for who they are? Can we just love them?
